"Mr. Obama has nominated as his main executive branch lawyer someone who believes in diminishing the powers of the executive branch." Thus saith the Wall Street Journal in an editorial today. Either Ms. Johnsen will change her tune at the Justice Department—it's funny how fast a liberal can become an advocate of the executive when another liberal is in the White House—or Barack Obama will come to regret this choice.
