Supreme Court “Too Liberal”   [Ed Whelan]

Amidst the usual media blather about our supposedly “conservative” Supreme Court, a new poll from Rasmussen Reports indicates that 36% of Americans—more precisely, of likely voters—consider the Supreme Court “too liberal,” compared to only 20% who consider it “too conservative” (and 35% who think it’s “about right”).

Also, 70% of Americans think that the Supreme Court should “make decisions based on what’s written in the Constitution and legal precedents,” versus 25% who think that it should “be guided mostly by a sense of fairness and justice.”  So much for President Obama’s lawless “empathy” standard.
