Durbin Accuses Kavanaugh [Jonathan Adler]
Senator Dick Durbin is accusing Judge Brett Kavanaugh of giving "inaccurate and misleading" testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee during his confirmation hearings. Kavanaugh sits on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. In a letter to Judge Kavanaugh, Durbin demands an explanation and calls upon the judge to recuse himself in future cases involving detainees and enemy combatants, the subject matter on which Durbin claims he was misled.
